Connie Antoshko from Dan Cuthberts Abridge club won yet again to follow her wins at the English, the Welsh Open and the Irish Open  and her club mate Teddy Mulhall also won gold in the children's world games events.

Charlie Collins from North Weald was unfortunate in the male junior heavy weight final losing narrowly to his Brazilian opponent.

UKA coaches Ian Cuthbert, Julia Heenan,  Phil Patrick  and Rob Ward were all very pleased with the UKA members performances and look forward to next years European championships in Romania.

UKA also have some seniors competitors selected to go all expenses paid by Karate Sport England to Belgrade for the UWKF event in December. The England squad includes. Coach Ian Cuthbert, official Mike Cormack and athletes. Luke Cuthbert, Hollie Roberts, Charlie Collins, Adam Carrigan Smith  and Liam Powell.

Good luck and best wishes to all of them.
