Abridge

01 01

UKA s Easter camp at Abridge had over 120 children enjoying morning classes with Senseis Dan Cuthbert, Luke Cuthbert, Mike Cormack, Dan Thackray and James Howes. This followed the previous weeks camp at North Weald which entertained 92 children. UKA will be holding their first multi sports full day summer camp this year at North Weald. Further information coming soon.

At Abridge on the Friday Sensei Ian Cuthbert oversaw another successful Black Belt grading for two students from the Woodford club.

James Ezeilo has been training with UKA for 12 years and Chanel Riley for 10 years, both started at age seven and both passed the two and a half hour exam in fine fashion. Proving once again that if you prepare for something correctly you can be successful.

Chanel followed her grading up by competing in the Karate Sport England championships at Harlow at the weekend winning gold in individuals and gold in team.
